| Purpose and classifications - Intervention - (Value) | In Japan, there is a system to cover the cost of prescription drugs with health insurance. Some patients tend to visit multiple medical institutions for their same diseases frequently due to mental anxiety. In order to deal with this problem, Cancerscan analyzes the receipt data to identify people in Beppu City and Nakatsu City who take duplicate medication. Next, Cancerscan sends notes to the service users to encourage them to consult their doctors about their medication. In addition, Cancerscan prepares a flyer to remind people to carry their medication handbook, which Beppu City, Nakatsu City, and Bungo-Ono City distribute to pharmacies.The goal of these efforts is to achieve the necessary and sufficient prescriptions for patient's good health. |
